Saida, a girl with an ugly face due to a wound in the past, is ostracized by her peers and even ignored by men. In secret, Saida dreams of having a beautiful face. She fulfills her dream by performing a ritual required by Ki Ageng. Ki Ageng's younger sister, Mahira, helps her sister's plan to dig a grave. Saida is still not satisfied even though she already has a beautiful face.
